Whenever one of my blogger friends comes out with a cookbook, I’m first in line to grab a copy. Each of these lovely ladies is incredibly talented and their cookbooks have completely blown me away. And I’m so excited to be sharing some of my absolute favorites with you.
In today’s gluten-free cookbook review, we’re chatting about the newly released dessert cookbook, Naturally Sweet & Gluten-Free, authored by my dear friend Ricki Heller. Ricki is a vegan baking queen and with her new cookbook, her creativity shines through.
Although I’m not super familiar with vegan baking, I have done a little bit here and there, but when I flipped through the recipes in Naturally Sweet & Gluten-Free I was instantly inspired to toss the eggs and honey (staples in my gluten-free baked goods) and start whipping up fabulous allergy friendly desserts.
What kind of fabulous desserts can you find in this book? Well, pretty much everything you can think of! There are 100 recipes, all made without gluten, dairy, eggs or refined sugar. And the fact that Ricki has been able to recreate favorites like Chocolate Pecan Pie, Cheesecake Brownies, Chocolate Whoopie Pies and Cinnamon Buns (!!!), all with healthy ingredients, is what makes this book so special.
