I love you. Each and every one of you. You’re the reason I’m here and gluten-free goodies are what I love to share with you.

Today I’m super excited to introduce you to Sterling Sweets, an allergen-free bakery in Westchester, NY. Jennifer, the lovely baker behind this fabulous gem, offered to bring me some treats and I was floored. Vegan, gluten-free, allergen-free baked goods that knocked my socks off.

Quinoa Cherry Cookies

Whenever I head into a gluten-free bakery, I can count on seeing the staples. Fudgy brownies, chunky chocolate chip cookies and dreamy cupcakes. Usually they’re loaded with sugar, lots of starch, and although they may be super tasty, they’re not super healthy.

But then Jennifer and her amazingly delicious baked goods fell into my lap. And she does it all on her own. Each treat is baked by her, made with love and healthy, all-natural ingredients.

Chocolate Coconut Bars

She sells the kind of baked goods I make at home. The kind that I can eat and not feel guilty about. The kind that come in cute packages and actually taste like they came out of the oven that day. The kind that I can not only can read all the ingredients, but are ingredients that I have in my own pantry.

Like quinoa flakes. Yes, she’s a lover of quinoa flakes. A girl after my own heart! And her cookies? Amazing. Crispy, cherry-filled, sweet and scrumptious.

As much as I would love to try all these wonderful treats, I am trying very hard to reduce my sweets. But I have a gluten-free son in college at Brown who would so appreciate these goodies in a care package. It is hard to pick which one would be a favorite. Thanks for a great giveaway!

Oh my gosh.. the coconut chocolate bars, then the cookies, then everything else. We are peanut, treenut, soy and gluten free at my house (my daughter and I combined) and finding a bakery that covers all of those things is near impossible. Yet, here she is!

  13. Helen Wachowiak says

Agree! For me – good to see something that is dairy free but not just loaded up with every other bad thing like way too much sugar. I think I’d like to try the quinoa cherry cookies.
