1. What format is the program delivered in?
This is a 6-week course that will be delivered electronically. Each week you will get a new training video and worksheets, all of which will be building on past teachings. The worksheets will be PDFs and printer-friendly!
2. Do I have to start when everyone else starts?
We will run this as a live community program, and while we would love for you to join us for the live portion of the program, you don't have to if it doesn't work with your schedule. You'll still get all the content and can complete it at your own pace if need be. I did design this program knowing that not everyone would be able to join in live, so no matter when/where you are in life, you can complete this program!
3. Do I get a meal plan and recipes?
Not this time around! This is different than my other programs and is focused less on a strict eating plan and more about empowering you to create delicious, nutritious, plant-powered meals on your own. You will be getting recipe formula cards throughout the program which can serve as a guide for creating your own uniquely delicious meals.
4. What is the private community all about?
Think of this as a combo of a support team and cheerleaders! It's a private group on Facebook that only members of the program have access to. It's a place where you can share your progress, ask questions, cheer each other on, and most importantly, it's a judgment-free zone! We're all in this together -- we're here to lift you up, inspire you, motivate you and support you!
5. Do I have to be vegan forever?
Definitely not! The goal of this program isn't necessarily to make you vegan (unless that is your individual goal). It's more to show you how to live a life that is primarily powered by plants. I am by no means a strict vegan personally, and I don't want to pigeonhole you into a specific diet. I want to guide you through this process so that you have a strong foundation and a way of eating that you can stick with and maintain.
6. Where did you get your training?
I received my holistic nutritionist certification in April of 2016 from the American Fitness Professionals Association. The program was focused on plant-based eating and I learn how to successfully help people make this transition. I am a self-taught cook and have spent years experimenting with food. I'm excited to be able to share my knowledge and help you reach your health goals!
