Dairy-Free Chocolate Mousse

The best dairy-free mousse recipe! It's also very easy to make, has a rich dark chocolate flavor and can be served for a special occasion or any other day of the year!

Ingredients

for the mousse

for toppings:

  • coconut yogurt (or whipped cream)
  • shaved chocolate
  • toasted coconut
  • fresh berries (I love raspberries!)

Instructions

  1. Bring coconut oil, butter, milk, salt and syrup to a boil. Simmer for 1 minute.
  2. Break up the chocolate and add to a glass mixing bowl. Pour over chocolate, let sit for two minutes, then whisk until chocolate is fully melted.

  3. Transfer to four small ramekins and refrigerate for at least two hours.
  4. When ready to serve, remove ramekins from fridge and top with your desired toppings!
