First, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.

Next, press the tofu. Place the tofu on a paper towel-lined plate and cover with another piece of paper towel. Place something heavy on top and allow to rest for at least 30 minutes.
