This crostini is stunning. The goat cheese and pesto, lightly spread on a grilled slice of gluten-free bread is the perfect base to the sweet figs. And topped with a drizzle of balsamic syrup and you'll be sent to heaven.
Add goat cheese, basil, nutritional, salt, pepper and oil to a food processor and process until smooth.
In a small sauce pan, add the balsamic vinegar and honey, and whisk together until the honey has dissolved. Bring the mixture to a boil and turn down to simmer until the liquid has reduced by half, about 2 - 3 minutes.
Assemble the crostinis by spreading the goat cheese mixture on each slice of bread. Top with sliced figs and drizzle with warm balsamic syrup.
