How to make Blueberry Chia Jam

If you love blueberry jam, you're going to LOVE this recipe! It uses just 3 simple ingredients – blueberry, chia, and lemon zest! The lemon adds just a touch of brightness and of course, the two are a perfect combination.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the blueberries into a saucepan. Turn to medium heat and begin to mash the berries with a fork. Once the berries are mostly mashed, stir in the chia seeds and lemon zest.
  • Allow the mixture to boil for 10 - 15 seconds, then remove from the heat.
  • Transfer into a glass jar and allow it to cool completely. Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
