Video Producer and Editor
Simply Quinoa (SQ) is looking for an experienced Video Producer to be part of our growing online business. The ideal candidate has a passion for food with excellent skills in shooting and editing food video content. You will be responsible for leading our video content vertical and will work alongside our Social Media Manager to grow and expand the SQ community across all of our social media platforms through video. This position is open to all US-based remote candidates.
Position Title: Video Producer & Editor
Hours: 10 – 15 hours/week to start
Compensation: Hourly, based on experience
Location: Based in the US, remote
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shoot all videos for the new recipes for SQ
- Edit videos for all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
- Create custom videos for IG stories, reels, and TikTok
- Manage post-production process from ingesting media to delivering final videos
- Collaborate with our content team to craft creative and engaging videos
- Create cutdowns of existing content as needed
- Maintain an organized workflow and keep to deadlines across multiple projects
- Receive and incorporate feedback from stakeholders throughout the review process
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience in video and multimedia production
- Highly proficient skills in video and photo, including styling, shooting, and editing
- Ability to effectively and creatively tell a story visually
- Demonstrated ability to produce step-by-step recipe videos
- Knowledge of basic animation for text and graphics in video content
- Working knowledge of professional video editing and graphic creation software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Good communicator, problem solver, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a willingness to take on new projects
- Hard-working with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects at once, and keep composure under pressure
- Able to maintain motivation and enthusiasm while working remotely
- Able to work collaboratively with a remote team
